This is a Specialized StumpJumper FSR XC Pro. The original owner says that it spent most of it’s life in storage due to an injury he had. It does look great. It is a 2000 model and the MSRP was $2319.99. I think it would be real hard to find this same model and age in this condition. It is very nice bike that recieved very good reviews.

The bike has some scratches/marks but looks great overall. View the pictures. You won’t see every scratch/mark but will get a real good idea of the cosmetic condition.

I have photographed the components so that you can see any wear (if applicable). We do not give refunds for parts/upgrades/updates. The parts function (unless otherwise noted) and wear is shown in the pictures. The bike is perfectly useable as it is.

This is a 24 speed mountain bike. The Aluminium frame is in excellent shape with no dents. This SPECIALIZED frame measures 20” CTC. The top tube measures 23” CTC. The stand over height for this great bike is 33”. Shows no dents or dings. I personally restored this bike and it performed extremely well. I took as many pictures as I possibly could so that you could get an idea of the conditions of the bike. The bike looks great. It is mechanically sound and in operable condition. Variable electronic damping. It’s used on the most exotic racing equipment in the world. Pit pundits claim it’s an unfair advantage. Either way. its been unattainable in the bicycle industry.

Until now. The new K2 Smart Shock with a "brain." The K2 Smart Shock is the world’s first bicycle shock with a "brain." The sensor in the shock reads piston speed and location, and sends the data to the smart circuit. The circuit returns a signal to the piezo valve, flexing the valve in a millisecond to increase or reduce oil flow. that’s 1/1000 of a second! The end result is increased tire-to-ground contact, letting you push yourself past the edge and come back in one piece. the "brain" thinks for you, so you can concentrate on riding. Not on bracing for bumps.

A piezoelectric, or piezo, is a ceramic material that can be mamipulated with electricity. In other words, shock the valve with a bit of juice and it opens; cut off the current and it snaps shut. The result is increased tire-to-ground contact, letting you concentrate on riding. Not bracing for bumps.

With conventional shocks, damping has always been a compromise: Set it up stiff, and the bike performs poorly in trail chatter. Set it up plush for rocks and roots, and you risk getting spit off on high-speed impacts. Smart Suspension maintains control in all speed and terrain extremes by compensating for any impact in the blink of an eye.

Up for grabs. 2010 Specialized Epic Marathon 29er frame and fork. XX crankset/BB is not included in auction. Frame is in unbelievable condition. Literally ridden approximately 20 times for less than 200 miles. The only 2 blemishes I can see on the frame are (1) on the seat tube (where the bottle bumped the frame) and (2) on the inner part of the suspension linkage. I tried to include both of those in the photos. If you are looking for the ultimate race bike, this is it. Climbs like a hardtail and descents like a all-mountain bike. I had the bike built up to weigh slightly under 24lbs, unreal for a full-suspension 29er bike. Frame has 90mm of rear wheel travel and 100mm of travel up front. The fork has a tapered steerer tube with a carbon steerer and crown. I’ve included the link to the Specialized website. Retail is $2800. I also have included a 90mm Specialized stem and an aftermarket chainstay protector. Frame and fork have been professionally maintained by a shop mechanic and are in pristine condition. Specialized Stumpjumper comp XL 2010

This is a 2010 Specialized Stumpjumper comp size XL. Used but in great condition. I upgraded to a thomson stem, Fizik Antares saddle (there are tears in the fabric on the sides from a previous owner but saddle is still usable) , Sram XO 9 speed shifter pods and a set of XT chainrings. I also upgraded the wheels to a set of Stan’s ZTR arch wheels with Stan’s own ZTR hubs. The fork has been recently overhauled with fresh seals and oil. I’ve owned the bike for about 9 months and I’m switching out to a 29er. there are only a few minor scratches in the paint from rocks and regular use, no major crashes or damage to the frame. there is also a very fine scratch in the top coat on the top tube about 4 inches long but its hard to see in the picture. I’m also including a set of Crank Brothers Eggbeater pedals. No international bidders please. If there are any questions or you need any more pictures please don’t hesitate to ask.

2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert, 21″ frame, red anodized aluminum frame. Bike is test bike color which personally I love, but was never used as a demo/test bike. I bought the bike brand new in March of 2010, demand was so high that red was the only color I could get. I have original receipt that I will give to winning bidder. This bike is absolutely an amazing bike and by far the funnest bike I have ever ridden. It has been ridden about 300 miles, never jumped and has no dings or imperfections. A few scratches on the cranks but that is all. Everything stock except for 2 upgrades: Thomson Masterpiece setback seatpost and Shimano XT 11-32 cassette. XT M770 pedals included. Also included but not pictured is a red (perfect match) bottle holder and all manuals/brake keys that i received at time of purchase. This is a used, but in good condition Specialized Epic. New mechanical disk brakes, tires, and wheels added 2009. The fork was recently reworked in July. The bike has normal wear and tear, but is in good overall condition. It has LX/XT mix group w/ carbon world cup fork. The picture of the fork shows the cable wear on the frame that is just cosmetic.
I’m only selling to build a single speed because the wife only will allow one toy per discipline. I mainly ride road bikes, so the bike hasn’t been ridden excessively or raced.

Mountain Bike Frame — NO RESERVE

This is an older(1999 or 1998) Specialized Stumpjumper M2 Metal Matrix frame in excellent condition with a raceface 30.9 seat post, cane creek head-set(good condition) as well as an Easton stem. This frame has
some minor scratches, and cable run, but no dents or cracks, no rust (Aluminum) and all threads
are in good condition! Hardly no chain slap as this frame was primarily used as a road bike and never saw any mud or off road trails. The frame accepts cantilever or the more
modern v-brakes – there are no disc tabs. The frame size measures “20 1/2″ from
center of the top seat post tube to the center of the steering top tube. I am 6′ feet tall and this frame gave me 2 inches of top tube clearance when I straddled this frame, once it was completely built-out. Any questions, please email. Again, this is a nice clean frame which has never been recked, damaged or used as a mountain bike.

Brake levers have a small reach and are easy to squeeze, designed for small hands.

This bike came with a regular solid fork, and I replaced it with an elastomer-damped suspension fork (Top Gun) originally designed for a recumbent bike. It’s plush enough for a light-weight kid, and will stand up to adult punishment.

This bike is bomb-proof. It survived my two boys, both of whom rode it at Mammoth mountain bike park for a few years in a row: on the lower and mid-mountain trails, and even Off The Top.

But this is by no means a new bike. It is pre-loved, with plenty of nicks and scratches. The blemishes are in the expected places, such as the drive-side chainstay (mostly on a plastic coating that protects the tube), pedals, and the handlebar bash-guards. Some on the top tube. But you have to get up close to see them.

Mechanically, this bike was always well maintained by a long-time racer/rider (dad) and was recently overhauled and tuned. Brakes are tight, wheels spin true, gears shift through entire range, and chain is free of heavy grime. There is a bald spot on the front tire (formerly the back tire) from skidding on sidewalks. I swapped tires, back to front, and there’s plenty of knob left on the rear. It doesn’t affect the ride in the least, but you might want to replace it eventually.

I just checked the price on a new one of these. With the suspension fork, it runs $350. You’ll get it for a heck of a lot less, and a new one will look just like this one after one season.

No reserve. This bike needs a new home with an active child.

Shipping for bicycles, however, is not cheap. I’ll try to get it to you as economically as possible. I’m guessing $35. But local pickup in Los Angeles area is welcome.

If you are looking for a very lightly used bike, then this is your bike! Less than 250 miles, on this Dual suspension very high end Mountain Bike. This bike was voted Cross-Country Mt.
