2009 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp 29er
Up for sale is a super awesome Specialized Stumpjumper Comp 29er!!! The bike has been updated in most of the important areas for a smoother, lighter and faster bike. Last i weighed the bike, it came in at a super low 21.8lbs. The only difference between the bike now and when i weighed it is the removal of my Fifteen G Crankset (also up for sale!).
I have owned the bike for 2 months and have loved riding and upgrading it ever since. This is last year that Specialized offered the 18″ frame option on the Stumpy 29ers. With the addition to their new swoopy top tubes, 19″ frames run large and 17.5 frames have super small cockpits. 18″ geometry is the perfect frame for anyone between the heights of 5′9″-6′1″. The only reason i’m selling the bike is to help fund my new road bike.
I just had got the bike tuned-up at my local bike shop last week. They cleaned, lubed, adjusted the shifting, brakes, hubs, bottom bracket and headset. There are large dents or scratches anywhere on the bike. There could be some very small marks from regular riding if you look long and hard enough, but nothing that i saw that i felt obligated in taking a picture of.

Bike will be boxed by a professional at my LBS and shipped via UPS to make sure the bike arrives in a safe and reliable manner. If buyer is local, bike can be picked up and shipping fees will be removed from auction price.

The Wheels are approximately a full pound lighter than the stock wheel set. Substantially lowering the rotational mass and making for a much faster spinner wheel. This can be felt from everything from bringing the bike upto speed to hill climbing.

BONTRAGER X LITE SWITCHBLADE CARBON RIGID FORK. Retail $200+
Superlight fork helped to reduce approximately 1.8lbs from the front end of the bike. With the carbon rigid fork, the bike is lighter and faster in both the straights and hill climbs.
