1999 GT XIZANG Titanium frame 18″ + some goodies
You are viewing a rare 1999 GT Xizang Titanium frame. It was bought as a full XTR bike from Bethel Ski and Bike in Bethel, WA. This frame was originally painted in the US Team White paint scheme. The frame was stripped and polished as a Xizang should be. It could probably use a new polish job, its been a while. I didn’t put the full decal set back on, just one name decal. I’m a fan of the stealth look. Decals are regularly available on Ebay. The frame has been in storage for 3-4 years. We have a baby on the way so I’m thinning the bike herd a little. Otherwise I wouldn’t be selling one of my xizangs. There are no scratches on the frame that wouldn’t buff out with a little effort. That’s the beauty of Ti.
The only thing wrong with the frame is the bottle mount threads. The threads in the insets are stripped. I took the frame to my local bike shop and they said it’s a pretty easy fix with the right tool. This frame would make a great retro / Late 90s build. She’s still got tons of life left in her.
I am including some of the original components that are in perfect working order, they just show wear from riding and being in the storage bin.

I have done my best to illustrate its condition and I’m happy to take any additional pictures you require. To my knowledge, the frame is in solid condition with no structural issues. I wouldn’t hesitate to ride it myself.
